Kathy Smith - Timesaver Cardio Fat Burner ASIN: 1573303585
Customer's Rating: 3 Summary: An average workout video
Comments: Overall, I wasn't too impressed with this video. I did really like the music, and I like the way the video is set up to have two high-energy 20 minute workouts that can be combined to make a single 40 minute workout, with the option of higher-energy moves in the second 20 minutes *BUT* there is a lack of care and attention to the body that used to be an important part of her earlier videos. There are no warm-ups, no cool downs, she doesn't take the time to emphasize correct form, etc. and she is not supportive to her audience (ie "You're doing good, keep it up, almost there"). It's as if the whole point of the video is to prove that she is ultra-cool ...and that she still has what it takes to get through a high-energy workout like this when it is obvious that she is struggling. I did not like a lot of the steps (it's easy to twist your knees doing a few of them) and I did not like that you get stuck doing a certain step many times over on one side of the body (ie left leg)through-out the workout without balancing it out on the other side. I did not like the athletic look of her back-up crowd, they looked more suited to weight lifting and jogging than to aerobics. Overall, while the theory behind the video was good, it just didn't hit the target.

The Firm - Cross Trainers: Super Cardio ASIN: B00005T32Y
Customer's Rating: 4 Summary: great cardio workout, if you're coordinated!
Comments: I bought this tape after reading all the reviews and tried it out for the first time last night. One thing no one has mentioned is how fast-paced all of the steps and "dance" moves are. If you're not too coordinated and have never been on a pom squad, like myself, it will seem frustrating to you at first. It will probably take me 2 or 3 more times using the tape to get all the moves down, but that's okay. Just hang in there! It's really a great cardio workout, mixing light weights, a short step and like everyone has said, the plyo exercises are great. I've never had a cardio video that has such a good calf workout either. My calves are sore today! If I can just get my feet to keep up with the step routines, I won't look like such a dork and I'll get a much more effective workout!

Crunch - Cardio Sculpt ASIN: B00005LQ1J
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: AWESOME WORKOUT!
Comments: I have recently gotten engaged and like many brides want to loose weight and become more tone. I have gone to the gym for several years and have also tried other videos. I feel Crunch - Cardio Sculpt is absolute terrific and is the BEST way to accomplish my goal. Violet, the instructor is fabulous. She is energetic; extremely knowledgeable, and a wonderful motivator. The workout is low impact, which tones every part of your body in just 30 minutes. I also work full time and attend graduate school part time. With my busy schedule, this workout fits perfectly into my schedule. I highly recommend it. You will feel great and notice a difference within days!

Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets - Cardio Blast ASIN: B00006II7C
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: A Great Short Aerobic Workout
Comments: Tamilee's workout provides excellent cueing and a great, fun workout in a short amount of time (30 minutes). I would consider this an intermediate workout. Good for days when time isn't there for a longer workout or good to add on to a weight/pilates/yoga workout.

Paula Abdul: Cardio Dance ASIN: 6305226938
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Miss Paula Gets The Gold
Comments: What a tape this is! WOW! Paula Abdul really gets your heartrate going, and she is great company to sweat with.At first the dance moves DO seem a bit complex but they are easily mastered and really work your body out. What I like the most is that the warm-up is quick and effective, then Ms. Paula takes you right into the dancing. And how-these are some real funky moves! She takes it slow(and uses an inset box which I find useless), and after a few times you'll get it. If anyone expect to pop in an excerise tape and have to routine after only 5 minutes-you have got another thing coming. After the dance routine, Paula does some real great toning and stretching. The workout really burns in you legs and thighs(hey-it's that "good" burn), and the stretching feels fantastic for you back and legs.If you consider yourself a beginner try Paula's first tape "Get Up And Dance". Otherwise pick you this tape(or DVD!) and get to it.

The Firm - Cross Trainers: Firm Cardio ASIN: B00005T334
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: A Really Tough Tape
Comments: This video is mostly weights. If your looking for a video with more cardio, this is not the one you need. If you want results, I recommend using this tape.

Treadmoves: Aerobic Cardio Blast ASIN: B000067JCT
Customer's Rating: 4 Summary: Blast off pounds
Comments: The premise, of course, is doing various aerobic type exercises on the treadmill for 45 stinking minutes. I started out and thought "I can do this". We're walking and stretching and I'm doing fine. Then she wants me to do a front skipping motion-2 front skips, change legs, 4 front skips, change legs and then 8. I'm already beginning to cuss ( I cuss ALOT when I exercise), it's not like I do it as lightly as they do. I felt like a large hippo with a limp leg. Then she says, turn your body sideways and skip. I about went off the back. I had to twist my body to catch the rails. Now I'm thinking-what kind of ... is that? At 11 minutes into it, I was ready for a cool down. No, she starts doing the hill workouts. I couldn't finish all FOUR hills. Then she says, "OK, take it down... to 4.5!. I was turning mine down to 3.0. Now she started doing knee raises. Can you imagine doing this on the treadmill, all the while using your arms as well? It was crazy. I tried it once and disgraced myself. I mainly watched the last 25 minutes purely as entertainment. I kept thinking, what if someone like my mother tried it. She would kill herself. I am going to continue to do it, though. I will learn those moves and I'll look good doing them. I figure if I can finish this video, even at the intermediate level, I will be a fitness babe. On a scale of 1-10 "8"

Denise Austin - Anti-Aging Cardio Dance Workout ASIN: 0784017689
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Great Total Workout!
Comments: This was my first Denise Austin video and I love it. I can only make it to the gym once a week and this keeps me going on the other days. It is not boring and before you know it you've completed 45 minutes of a fun yet challenging workout. I have been doing it about 4 times a week for a month and already notice a big difference. Can't wait to try her other videos.

Cardio Athletic Kickbox II - Play Hard, but Play Safe ASIN: B00004WZSP
Customer's Rating: 3 Summary: Good workout, but not great
Comments: I am on a quest for the perfect, hard core cardio kickboxing workout, and the closest I have seen so far is XKO Kickboxing by Larry Lam (tho I wish it had more kicks in it). I bought Eversley Forte's tape based on the 2 awesome reviews on Amazon, and I was just a tad disappointed since I was looking for an "intermediate to advanced" workout, but this one aired on the intermediate side. The instruction on this tape is superb, both at the beginning and during the workout - Eversley takes the time to remind you what you should be focusing on and what *not* to do throughout the video. I would even recommend this tape to beginners since one of the people in the video does a low impact version of all the moves... As with all exercise, you can/should also modify and work at your own pace. My next challenge will be Dawei: I hear that tape is a *real* killer!

Cardio Kung Fu ASIN: B00005R5W3
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: A fantastic workout with real applications
Comments: This set of tapes is a great workout! It is an intense work out that keeps you interested. Some of the moves are hard to get down at first, but I practiced them slowly and was able to quickly gain speed. The applications video is great too because you learn how to apply what you learn working out to a self defense scenario.

Shaolin Cardio Kick Box for Beginners ASIN: 158565292X
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Carradine scores another Knockout
Comments: I feel that this is David's best produced and most beneficial workout tape to date. Producer Nakahara did an outstanding job with this one, in a fluidly photographed instructional video that is easy on the eyes. Mr. Carradine, Sifu Marshall, and three other martial artists take the viewer on a step by step approach to Shaolin kickboxing that is easy to learn (With terrific rear view shots of Sifu Marshall that make the moves simple to follow) and gives one a good and heavy sweat upon completion. Mr. Carradine is now in his sixties, but you wouldn't know it by the condition that he's in. He is in tremendous fighting trim and looks great! You'll really learn how to punch, block, and kick after a workout on this baby. Five Big Stars!

The Method - Cardio Boot Camp ASIN: B000031VPT
Customer's Rating: 4 Summary: Three great workouts in one videotape
Comments: I purchased this tape not knowing what to expect (I'm a Tae-bo fan)--much to my surprise, I was extremely pleased at the way the workout was put together. There are three, 15-minute workouts; I usually do the entire 45 minutes because the workouts are never boring, with the middle segment using weights (although I'd have liked a little more use of them). Tracey Mallett is a great instructor, never annoying and great on cueing moves. I recognize a lot of the backup team from Denise Austin's Kickboxing tapes, and they're all still fun to watch. I use advanced workouts, and this tape is fine for all (although a little more work on abs would have rounded the workouts out). Beginners can start with just one or two workouts, then move up. More experienced can use the whole set. I'd love to see more Tracey Mallett videos but can't find any. Strongly recommend this one, though.

Cardio Athletic Kickbox Instructor Series I ASIN: B00004XQPJ
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Packed! - No getting bored with this one
Comments: The Cardio Athletic Kickboxing Instructor Series video is absolutely packed with ideas and new moves. Eversley Forte, the instructor in the video, says that nothing is held back. From what I can tell, that is absolutely correct. This workout is advanced and will challenge anyone who works out to it. The combinations are easy to follow, but the intensity is outstanding. Low impact options are shown during the whole workout. Instructors will be able to get lots of interesting ideas for their classes and those looking for an advanced home workout that gets them sweating will also love this workout. The movement of the people, style of teaching and choreography, visualization, and incorporation athletic drills really make this video stand out from ALL others I have seen. I am a group exercise instructor and based on the video am looking forward to doing a "live" workout with Eversley Forte the next time he is comes to the Boston area.

Cardio Kickboxing Mechelle's Way and Self-Defense for Women ASIN: B00004YMCH
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Great workout and learning experiance!
Comments: I liked the video because it gives you an even total body workout. She doesn't do a gazillion moves on one leg then when your echausted move to the next. She does just enough to let you feel the burn then moves on. Then goes back again. So it keeps you going. You feel like you can do the workout. I don't dread the next time I workout because I think I'm going to do a gazillion in a row. So I look forward to the next time I pop the video in. She knows how to give you a great workout without killing you in the process. Moving from muscle group to muscle group and then coming back to it again, Is the way to go. I don''t feel like I'm just lifting my leg out of sheer exhaustion. I feel like I'm doing the techniques as best I can thru out the workout. The other thing I like is during the intro, she takes the time to explain and demonstrate each upper and lower body technique. So I know I can go back and review at my leisure. The GREATEST PART?? The self-defense demos thru out the video.. They are great to watch and it gives me purpose and comfort to know that while I'm working out I'm also putting myself thru a women's self defense seminar... Great Video! I think every women should one.. Mekiela

The New Method 20/20: Cardio Kick ASIN: B00006AUM1
Customer's Rating: 3 Summary: OK workout... bad tape editing
Comments: This tape is good for days that I don't feel like working out at all because it is fairly easy. I usually go ahead and do both segments since I don't get much out of doing just one. I don't know if it's just my tape which I got through amazon.com, but the editing is horrible. In the first half I have a good 10 seconds of blackout on the screen in the middle of the workout. The end of the cool down on the second half seems to just cut off in the middle of the final stretch. This why I gave it 3 stars, or else I would have given it 4 stars since I have worse tapes (like Crunch Fitness with Billy Blanks).

Bellydance Fitness for Weight Loss: Cardio Shimmy ASIN: B00006II7E
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: top quality workout and dancing
Comments: I am half Lebanese and have been bellydancing all my life. I am fully aware what great health benefits it has (I have 3 kids and it does not show). Also I am a big fan of Rania and of Veena and Neena (the same company produces their videos and I have all of them!). I think Rania's new videos are dynamite. She is responding to people who want to learn bellydance without having to hear Middle Eastern music, so all the workouts have different type of music. She is a real bellydancer and great teacher. I read some of the negative reviews and all I can think is that they are expecting the bellydance looking set and music, whereas this set is more high-tech. If you can just look at the quality of instruction and the moves and combinations, you will be very happy, she teaches a lot. You will be doing bellydance combinations by the end of the tape. You will learn alot and not realise you had a workout.

Tony Little: Cardio Hips ASIN: 6303463797
Customer's Rating: 4 Summary: Entertaining video that helps to make excercise fun.
Comments: Tony Little has tremendous energy and makes excercising fun. My wife loves to excercise with this video. Tony has good excercise techniques mixed with unique commentary. Beginners ... outta here, intermediates ... see ya. He makes it fun.

Reebok: Power Blast - Cardio Circuit Training ASIN: 6304673000
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Atheltic workout great for men and women.
Comments: This tape is taught by Lisa Gaylord, and incorporates movements from various martial arts, boxing, skating, basketball, you name it. She starts out with a martial arts inspired, unique warm-up, then moves into a cardio interval section where she alternated pretty straightforward hi impact cardio (done for a few minutes) with anaerobic activity like squats, lunges and plyometric moves that really fatigue the muscles and get the heart rate up. It's fun and nonrepetitive because she uses things like skater's lunges and basketball jumpshots to work your body. After the interval section, she leads you through a brief but effective series of kicks that won't do much for a dedicated Tae-Bo fan but it's fun and keeps the blood flowing. The last section before the cool down is upper body, done first with a series of punching combos and then moves down to the floor for a pushup combo that works the arms, chest, upper back and even the abs a bit. There is no ab section, per se, but other than that it's a thorough workout that doesn't use dancy choreography or silicone injected intrsuctors, though with the athletic nature of the entire tape I was surprised that there weren't any men in the class. The cool down follows the warm up in that it's martial arts based. This is certainly more geared towards an intermediate level exerciser or higher, as most of the explosive moves and cardio will be a bit daunting for a beginner. This should appeal to more sports minded men and women. It's a great workout that covers a lot and gives you a very complete workout in a surprisingly short amount of time (minus cool down and warm up it's about 35 minutes long), though it won't feel short while you're doing it, I promise! Hard to find, but well worth the effort if you do.

Everyone Can Exercise - Cardio Challenge ASIN: 6303391532
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: REALLY IS GREAT FOR EVERYONE!
Comments: I've had Multiple Sclerosis for 18 years and this is the only appropriate tape I've ever found! Workouts are not condescending and the focus is heart health. I cannot walk, jump, or dance, but thanks to this tape I CAN exercise!

The Firm Cross Trainers: Firm Cardio ASIN: 630439604X
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Another great FIRM workout!
Comments: I got this video along with Firm Strength, and I have found that I definitely use this video more than Firm Strength. Don't get me wrong, they are both GREAT videos. I have yet to meet a Firm video that I didn't like. Heidi is a wonderful instructor. Her cueing and encouragement is great. Despite the title, it is not a 100 mph dance-y tape. It has a nice balance of weight and cardio moves. The cardio/aerobic sections are easy to follow (the only one I had problems with at first was the box-step but I caught on). As always, there is the Firm's aerobics with weights (four-limb) sections along with weight training, tall box (the Firm's 12-14 inch box--I use a 12 inch Rubbermaid foot stool) work, and step work. The floor workout (lower body) on this tape are quite challenging (especially if you use ankle weights). All in all, it's a great workout, and it's definitely one of my favorite Firm tapes! Buy this tape!

One, The Next Level in Cardio Kickboxing ASIN: B000046RZ7
Customer's Rating: 3 Summary: easy listening kickboxing
Comments: I bought this video off amazon.com based on the 100% positive reviews. Well, it's a decent enough video but not what I expected. The workouts are short and not very strenuous compared to others like tae-bo, Kathy Smith, or Cardio Athletic Kickbox. The cheesy black-and-white flashes are distracting--why try to make an exercise video look like an artsy MTV drama production? And Brannon's voice sounds more conducive to hypnotism or New Age sermons --not saying it's bad, just a little weird in the context of a supposely vigorous workout. It definitely would not be for everyone. A good beginner's video for sure, but advanced exercisers won't find much beyond an "easy-day" workout here.

Cardio Capoeira #3 Ultimate Workout ASIN: B00004TJJD
Customer's Rating: 3 Summary: Cardio work out with a capoeira influence.
Comments: I ordered this video to learn more about Capoeira. The thing was that it turned out to be a work out video (as the title suggests). There are some nice clips inserted every now and then of some Capoeristas during their training session (most of the scenes taken from the Beginner Capoeira video that I also ordered from amazon). Carla Ribeiro's workout is a good one, relaxed yet you'd probably break into a sweat. There are some nice tunes dubbed over the sound. The sound was not good in some parts though, with some cutting. To conclude: if youre out for a video to learn about Capoeira, I suggest you get another one, but if you're out for a paced work out with an interesting touch, then this could be for you. take care :)

Cardio Capoeira Energy Fitness and Self Defence ASIN: B00004TJJE
Customer's Rating: 2 Summary: Not very good.
Comments: I bought this video, and a beginners video on capieroa. This tape kept my interest for about 15 minutes. It's like watching a workout video where all the instructor does is sway. There are no verbal instructions, so you have to just watch and figure it out yourself. There's no challenge, and the model was not very good at doing it in the first place. I'm very disappointed in the price I paid for the video. It wasn't very good.

The New Method 20/20 - Core Cardio ASIN: B00006AULY
Customer's Rating: 3 Summary: bad quality method
Comments: I'm very keen on "dance" fitness. So I was very excited with "The Method" series which offer a combination jazz dance, toning, cardio workouts. Now this "New Method" looks like recycled home videos or videos that somebody taped off a TV show and decided to make a buck. By the time you start to sweat, the workouts are over. This tape is good for warm-ups or for clock-watchers but it's definitely a step back for "The Method" franchise.

Mechelle's Way: Elite Cardio Kickboxing 2, Self Defense for Women ASIN: B000068COO
Customer's Rating: 3 Summary: STARTED out great, BUT...
Comments: The introducton about women's self-defense was definitely helpful and interesting, and I found Mechelle to be very credible and able as an instructor. However, the video had a low-production feel to it, despite the relatively high cost of the video. After the promising beginning, this became just another workout tape.

The Method - Afro-Brazilian Cardio ASIN: B00003UC9X
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: What a fun workout!
Comments: First, I must say that this workout is a lot of fun to do especially when you do it with friends who usually run for their workout and are not used to following an instructor. That said, this tape does not really feel like a workout, but by the end you are sweating quite a bit. You also don't need to have any background in dance to do this tape. You have the chance to learn all these cool Afro-Brazilian dance moves that come together to form a great aerobic workout. The tape is divided into three sections that get progressively harder, and it is fun to watch the back up dancers when they get a little too into the dance move. All in all, a great workout and a nice change of pace with the rest of all the other workout videos that are out there. My only complaint is that they don't have it on DVD yet. And remember, you're really cooking now!

Karen Voight - Cardio Strength Circuit Training ASIN: B0000639JZ
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Excellent workout
Comments: I am an advanced exerciser. This workout is excellent IF and ONLY IF an exerciser keeps a good form throughout the workout. Karen is the best instructor out there. She provides very good technique, no junk. I highly recommend her workouts and you will see results. Just do not cheat and always maintain a good form!

Dawei Cardio Kickboxing ASIN: 0967425603
Customer's Rating: 4 Summary: intense, lean and mean
Comments: I do enjoy taebo and other videos featuring charismatic talkative instructors, but this one is good for just getting into a serious hard workout. I like the somewhat longer combinations of moves--it provides a harder workout in a shorter period of time. I agree with the reviewer who mentioned it being sorta like a Mortal Kombat atmosphere...LOL...but that can be motivating. Dewey's presence can put you into the workout mood without him saying anything. The music isn't bad as far as cardio kickboxing videos go (ok that's not saying much). I like that there is a video for advanced folks only and it really makes you work in a short period of time.
|
Cardio Athletic Kickbox ASIN: B00000JL5H
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Fun!
Comments: I enjoy working out to Cardio Athletic Kickbox, and am less prone to boredom than with other videos. Eversley is energetic, lively and has fun with the workout. The workout is intense and effective, but without awkward poses and difficult routines. I recommend the video.

CARDIO-FITBALL ASIN: 0964534126
Customer's Rating: 3 Summary: Great for the thighs! AKA Fitball II
Comments: I've tried about 8 different ball workouts, and this one is one of the better ones out there. You start out with a great warmup. If you had any neck/shoulder tension, it would be gone by the end of the warmup. Then you bounce the ball while doing hamstring curls and basic leg patterns. Next is sitting on the ball and high bounces off it. My quads really felt a burn doing the high bounces. Next are abs, and these are some of the best on video. Then there is hamstring and glute work to balance out the legs, that is quite challenging. There is only one upper body exercise, and it targets the upper back. I've heard some call it a "Super man"; I did feel a minor pump, without weights. I must admit, that I didn't keep my video. I felt the bouncing on the ball in the aerobics not to be very fun, and my quads were burning so much, that I couldn't continue. I do intermiate/advanced level videos, so that gives you an idea of my fitness level. I did keep it for a while, just using the abs and floor work, since this video can easily be broken into sections. Since I've found Paul Chek's Swiss Ball Exercises for Better Abs, Buns, and Backs video, which I liked much better, I didn't use Cardio Fitball/Fitball II again.

The Method - Pilates: Dynamic Cardio ASIN: B00003E46Y
Customer's Rating: 4 Summary: I love to dance
Comments: During my teenage years I competed in dance and drill competions. I have not worked out in over 3 years and have put on extra weight. I first saw Lisa Wheeler while flipping channels. I really enjoyed seeing a dance inspired workout. I starting working out again and have since dropped 35 lbs although I am still overweight. I have enjoyed the first two sections of this video for several weeks now. I am building up to the last section. I alternate this video with Kathy Smith Videos and Precision Toning with Jennifer Kries (I'm still on toning essentials.) I started working out only 20 minutes with Kathy Smith Cardio Fat Burner. I now work out at least one hour everyday using several differnt videos. I love the Method Workouts now although in the beginning I thought the Method Workouts were too hard. I recommend this video to anyone who wanted to be on Broadway as a child.

Firm Cardio: Maximum Cardio ASIN: 1568124945
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: ONE OF THE FIRMS BEST BEST BEST!
Comments: Maximum Cardio is GREAT! I wouldn't trade this video for my life! I love the FIRM CARDIO (the three) video series-
CARDIO BURN (MY FAV) POWER CARDIO (WHICH IS HARD TO FIND)
AND MAX CARDIO (GREAT!)
This video is 45 minutes, for some, a shortie of a workout, but for me, by the end i am POOPED! I am advanced, and do the long workouts by the firm (total body shaping mix classics, all over hour videos) but this one makes me weak! Carissa Foster is a great instructor, she isn't overpowering, she doesn't sound like a man w/ an extremely deep voice.. she is just pretty and is sculpted, an ideal look for FIRM users! I love this workout because-
There is more cardio than most FIRMS
-the music is great! Carissa is a good instructor! There is weight and cardio together in a different way that alot of firms. Kinda like a "Split" video. Cardio mainly at the beginning, and toning at the end! This combo for me seems to just burn burn burn fat off of my bod. This video and Cardio burn are so good! Please find this firm, it is worth the work! :)

Classic Cardio ASIN: 1929430108
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: A workout with class
Comments: The first time I did this tape, it didn't get my heart rate up much because I was just learning the moves. But from the second time on this video got me into my target zone. You can do the moves more vigorously if you want a harder workout, or you can modify for a little lower impact if you want a little easier day. It really does get you sweating, though. Kari and Jay are great instructors who obviously have enthusiasm for what they are doing without being silly or "whooping." I have been exercising for about a year and consider myself intermediate/advanced, and this tape is a definite keeper.

The Firm - Tough Cardio Mix ASIN: B000053VCF
Customer's Rating: 3 Summary: Way too easy for advanced steppers and exercisers!
Comments: First I have to say, that although I like several of The Firm's fitness tapes, this is not a favorite of mine. One of the things I disliked most about the video is that it is cut and paste tape with parts being taken from several other previously released Firm tapes, and put together on this one tape, rather than being a completely new workout in itself. Also, the workout, although approximately 45 minutes in duration, did not get my heart rate up high enough to burn fat, and improve heart conditioning. The step routines are dull and repetitive, as are most Firm stepbox routines, and the floor aerobics is lacking when it comes to fun factor as well. If you insist on using The Firm for cardio...then I would recommend The Firm's Cardio Burn, as this is one of the few Firm tapes I have found that gets the heart rate up there, and works up a sweat. The Firm is great for scultping, but not for cardio, especially this tape.

Autonomy: Cardio Yoga ASIN: 6304286988
Customer's Rating: 3 Summary: Intermediate
Comments: If you know what poses to do, then the video might be helpful- however, if you are even somewhat unfamiliar with the names of the poses, you are in trouble-- the poses themselves make it hard to see the TV for an explanation of the pose, and they give little instruction.

The Firm Cardio: Cardio Burn ASIN: 1568124961
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: One of the best new Firm videos!
Comments: I fully enjoyed this tape from even the first time doing it, which I'm usually a little paranoid about. It's one of the only videos that wears you out, but leaves you feeling good about your workout. it's composed of fun dance steps, lots of jumping that'll leave your legs feeling like noodles, and some great abs for isolating your obliques. The instructor is incredibly motivating, and you really feel she's having sympathy for you! She keeps smiling even though you know she's dying, and I like her catch phrase "Mind over the muscle!" as she does her 1 millionth squat...Buy this video if you want a hyper-paced fun, and quick workout that'll leave you feeling as if you've spent hours at the gym. I know I love it!

Cardio Sculpt ASIN: 6304551673
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: great!
Comments: I am in pretty good shape, and I love this video. Throughout the first part of the video, you are using weights, but you are doing cardio and sculpting at the same time. It is a great burn! Then you isolate your muscles. That doesn't last that long, about five minutes. Then you do some floor work. Overall it is a wonderful workout, but I would not recomend it for beginners.

Xtreme Cardio Workout ASIN: 0970471203
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: XTREME CARDIO FOR ALL AGES
Comments: IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A GREAT WORKOUT WITH MUSIC THAT HAS AN IRRESISTIBLE BEAT, TRY MIKE HOPE'S "XTREME CARDIO". THE FIRST SECTION, WITH ITS MIXTURE OF AEROBOXING AND CALISTHENICS IS FOR ALL THOSE WHO CAN FOLLOW AN INTENSE WORKOUT. BUT MIKE HASN'T FORGOTTEN LESS ABLE WORKOUT ENTHUSIASTS. IN THE INSTRUCTIONAL WORKOUT SECTION OF THE VIDEO, HE NOT ONLY TEACHES HOW TO DO DIFFICULT MOTIONS AND POSITIONS; BUT HE SLOWS THE PACE DOWN QUITE A BIT, KEEPING THE SAME RHYTHMIC BEAT. "XTREME CARDIO" IS FUN AND YOU REALLY GET RESULTS. I DO IT THREE TIMES A WEEK, AND I CAN FEEL THE DIFFERENCE IN MY BODY ALREADY. THANKS, MIKE HOPE, FOR AN EXCELLENT WORKOUT.

The Firm Cardio: Power Cardio ASIN: 630581774X
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: ONE OF THE BEST!
Comments: i LOVE LOVE LOVE FIRM POWER CARDIO w/Dale Brabham! She is so sculpted and the workout can be killer! I know that this video is HARD to find, but I suggest you look for it immediately! The workout is semi like MAX CARDIO and CARDIO BURN, but I think there is a little less weight work in this one, than say Cardio Burn. Dale has ALOT of fun segments, but if you don' t like high impact..um.. this video is NOT for you! There is a fun segment where Dale does a fast shuffle, followed by plyos and bunny hops and skiing moves which is my favorite segment. I also like her step segment w/some kicks and punches. This video is hard to describe.. it really has everything! Aerobics, high low, weights and VERY cool ab work where you rotate your trunk around 360 while you move your legs! Very different for the FIRM! I think this workout can be an advanced workout. Although, you can modify for intermediates
Dale is a fabulous instructor..there is something about her that is calming and effective! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The Firm Cardio: Power Cardio ASIN: 1568124953
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Good Fat Burner!
Comments: This video is a great cardio workout. If you have weak knees, be wary. There are lots of jumps and high impact. The ab work is excellent. Dale has perfect form. The exercisers in the "class" look like they can hardly keep up with her. If you are intermediate or advanced, I recommend this video.
