David Carradine's Tai Chi Workout for Beginners ASIN: 6304945760
Customer's Rating: 2 Summary: Easy to follow at first...
Comments: I was encouraged by the beginner pace when I first began viewing this tape, but I found that as the video progressed, the movements were more difficult to follow. I am very familiar and comfortable with Chi Kung and was very interested in learning a Tai Chi form. I consider myself well coordinated and a fast learner. I've heard that you can't really learn Tai Chi from a video, but with my hectic schedule, I'm still hopeful I'll find the right video.

Shaolin Cardio Kick Box for Beginners ASIN: 158565292X
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Carradine scores another Knockout
Comments: I feel that this is David's best produced and most beneficial workout tape to date. Producer Nakahara did an outstanding job with this one, in a fluidly photographed instructional video that is easy on the eyes. Mr. Carradine, Sifu Marshall, and three other martial artists take the viewer on a step by step approach to Shaolin kickboxing that is easy to learn (With terrific rear view shots of Sifu Marshall that make the moves simple to follow) and gives one a good and heavy sweat upon completion. Mr. Carradine is now in his sixties, but you wouldn't know it by the condition that he's in. He is in tremendous fighting trim and looks great! You'll really learn how to punch, block, and kick after a workout on this baby. Five Big Stars!

David Carradine's Kung Fu Workout ASIN: 6302702844
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: A Real Martial Art Workout
Comments: I have studied the martial arts for 21 years. This video provides an excellent workout for the martial artist in every sense! The extremely thorough stretching routine insure that no injury will occur, and the stances and basic run through on the punches and kicks allow the practitioner to become totally familiar with the basic techniques before putting them together in the combination excercises (similar to katas, or programs for the Karate or Tae Kwon Do students out there). In his book "The Spirit of Shaolin" David Carradine said that this was the "yin" (hard) of the two videos (the Tai Chi being the "yang" or "soft") and that it is challenging and even vigorous. I agree with this assesment and must give it my highest rating. of five stars. I expect to be using this video for a long time to come, and will definately purchase another one when this one wears out.

David Carradine's Tai Chi Workout ASIN: 6302817668
Customer's Rating: 4 Summary: Great video
Comments: I liked the video but would not recommend it for people who have never practiced Tai Chi before. I would say it is a video for the intermediate Beginner. I like that it shows the individual movements as well as the complete form.

David Carradine: T'ai Chi for the Body Beginners Workout ASIN: 1585652938
Customer's Rating: 2 Summary: Try something else
Comments: This video (note, only 30 minutes long) suffers from poor camera work...angles from the rear are rare and make the forms tough to follow. Carradine's goofy eletric blue suit doesn't help anything either.

David Carradine's Chi Kung Beginners Workout ASIN: 6304945795
Customer's Rating: 5 Summary: Great introduction to chi kung
Comments: This is the video that really got me interested in chi kung. It starts with an a short history and explanation of chi kung. The rest is divided into sections. For anyone who enjoyed the video there is a companion book "David Carradine's Introduction to Chi Kung". The book has a six month program using exercises from both the book and the video.
